I work out of a fully treated room with a solid monitoring setup including an often overlooked subwoofer, crucial for ensuring your track hits hard on the big stages

While I work mostly with plugins, I do like to run masters through hardware. Even with minimal processing engaged, this noticeably brings almost anything it touches to life through non-linearities introduced by various components. Compared to "in the box" mixes, I find loudness easier to achieve whilst retaining perceived dynamics in addition to broad stroke EQ boosts sounding much more natural.
